Diamond Car Rent
This was the build that set the pattern for everything after it: Arabic and English in one data model, roles decided before screens, and invoices as PDF from day one.

Diamond Car Rent needed one system for the whole rental business: the public fleet, the booking, the customer's account and the office behind it, in Arabic and English.
What was built. A bilingual rental platform. Customers browse the fleet, pick dates and book. Each customer has an account with their bookings and documents. Staff work in a role-based admin where fleet, bookings, customers and pricing each have their own permissions, so a counter agent and an owner see different things. Invoices are generated as PDFs straight from the booking record, in the customer's language.
Stack. Next.js 14 with the App Router, Prisma on PostgreSQL, NextAuth for sessions and roles, next-intl for the two locales, shadcn/ui for the admin.
What was hard. One data model serving two languages and three kinds of user. Every entity carries both languages, every screen is laid out for right-to-left first, and the role checks live in one place so the admin cannot drift out of step with the API.
